Detenho-me numa figura elegante de mulher. Perdi-a. Deixo que o meu corpo se faça traveling até à estação de caminho de ferro da beira-rio. Procuro um ângulo e espero. O comboio não tarda a chegar. Lembro-me apenas de uma mulher. Perco-a também. Olho de novo e tudo mudou. Percebi que o lugar onde estou é afinal fictício. Apropriei-me de um lugar ou construí um? Passeio na minha cidade como me passeio por um filme. Vivo a minha cidade como se vive uma ficção. Para nela me perder e para a perder também. É sempre assim. No preciso momento...
I gaze at an elegant female figure. I lose her. My body moves in a long travelling towards the railway station near the river. I search for an angle and wait. The train arrives in the meantime. I just remember a woman. I lose her, too. I look again and everything has changed. At last I understand that I'm in an imaginary place. Did I take possession of a place or did I create one for myself? I stroll along the city just as I stroll along a movie. I breathe the city just as I breathe a fiction. To lose myself in and to lose it as well. It's always like this. At that precise moment...
